Free includes up to five PIN-locked notes. Pro removes that limit for personal journals, records, and other notes you want to lock.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is an account required to use the app?

Yes. An account is required to use Better Keep Notes. After signing in, you can create, edit, and organize local notes offline on the free plan. Optional encrypted cloud sync requires Pro.

What happens when my Pro subscription expires?

You can still access your local notes when your subscription expires. Cloud sync pauses, and you can export your notes from the app.

Is there a free trial for Pro?

If your account receives a Pro trial, the app shows the remaining trial time. Trial availability and duration depend on the current offer. A trial does not automatically become a paid subscription; choose a paid plan to continue using Pro after it ends.

Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?

Yes, you can change your billing cycle at any time. If you switch from monthly to yearly, you'll get a prorated credit for your remaining monthly subscription.

Can I self-host Better Keep Notes?

Yes. To run your own backend with Firebase or Supabase, contact us atcontact@betterkeep.app and we'll help you get set up.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If you're not satisfied within the first 30 days, contact us for a full refund. For subscriptions purchased through app stores, refunds are processed according to their respective policies.
